Set the fill
color to a gradient silver color on the bottom left of the color swatch,
see the example on the right:
Draw a fairly large circle onstage. (Don't group anything and
don't convert anything to a symbol.)
Insert
a keyframe in frame 30, press [F6] in frame 30.
Insert a keyframe in frame 15, press [F6] in frame 15.
While in Frame 15, change the fill color of the ball on the
Stage to the redgradient fill. Select the red gradient and then
select the Paint Bucket tool and touch the ball in Frame 15.
Still in Frame 15, use the Black Arrow Selection tool to first
deselect the circle (click off the circle), and then bring the pointer
close to the edge until the cursor changes to a curved “happy face” pointer.
Click and drag the center of the circle inwards to reshape it, see the center
picture below. (Once Shape Tweening is set, the animation will push in from the upper-right
side and then expand back to its original shape as if it was breathing) .
Lastly,
you need to set Shape Tweening for the two spans. Clickframe
1, hold down the [Shift] key, and then click frame 15. From
the Properties panel select Shape from the Tween: drop-down list.
Test the Scene or the Movie, [Ctrl] + [Enter]. If you
like it, Save it too.
